Quality is monitored continuously, not only at admission. A store whose score falls stops receiving traffic before a customer is disappointed, not after.

No casual sellers

Individuals cannot list under the verified-store model. It costs us catalogue breadth early on. We accept that cost rather than let a gift depend on a stranger.
